The "FireSmart Lodge"
Understanding the risks from wildfire, and the steps we can each take to reduce our risk of serious harm or property damage is an integral part of the FireSmart Model Lodge website.
This resource provides a a toolkit of practical steps to protect your woodland property.
The FireSmart Lodge concept was developed through a partnership with Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources, FOCA, the Northern Ontario Tourist Outfitters Association, and the Ontario Fire Marshall's Office.
