10:15am What’s Up with Electricity Rates in Ontario? – Bob Lake, P.Eng., Independent Utilities Professional.
Bob is the past President/General Manager of the Peterborough Utilities Group of Companies and a Board member with Innisfil Hydro, Kawartha Credit Union and Helping Hands International. He serves on the Trent Source Water Protection Committee, and is a member of the Technical Panel of the IESO (Independent Electricity System Operator) and the Electrical Safety Authority Review Panel.

2:00pm Understanding Inland Lakes – are they “stressed out”? – Dr. Stephanie J. Melles, Ryerson University.
Dr. Melles will speak about her 2016 project with FOCA and the Ontario Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, on predictive models of lake quality that interweaves existing ‘big data’ sets with GIS spatial analytics.
